Description
We simulate the ultrafast optical response of an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) thin film near its Epsilon-Near-Zero (ENZ) wavelength when excited by two femtosecond laser pulses. A temperature dependent Drude model captures the nonlinear optical behavior arising from electron heating in the thin ITO film. Initial results show that ultrafast heating from two pulses induces a complex dynamic grating structure in the permittivity, revealing its potential for ultrafast optical modulation and control.
