Description

We present a class of exact analytical solutions of the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity in 2+1 dimensions. This solution is obtained by imposing restrictive conditions on the field equations. In particular, the modified gravity metric in Cartesian coordinates equals the C-metric multiplied by a factor which, along with the massless scalar field, depends purely on a single variable. In the zero coupling limit, this general class of solutions not only remains well defined and recovers the C-metric, but also encompasses two classes of previously unknown representations of the AdS spacetime. Furthermore, we establish the existence of a domain wall and inspect the energy conditions along it.
