Description

In this talk I will review recent progress on understanding the security of quantum position-verification, a proposal to use quantum communication to verify the location in space of a party remotely. In particular I will review the $f$-routing proposal and lower bounds on the entanglement or complexity cost to cheat in this scheme. Based on https://arxiv.org/abs/2402.18648, https://arxiv.org/abs/2402.18647 and upcoming work.
