All participants, speakers, organizers, volunteers, and attendees of the National Undergraduate Physics Conference (NUPC) are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone.
1. Respect and Professionalism

Treat all individuals with courtesy and respect, regardless of gender, age, nationality, race, sexual orientation, disability, or academic background.

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any form of inappropriate behavior—whether verbal, physical, or digital—will not be tolerated.
2. Academic Integrity

Present original work or give proper credit where due.

Misrepresentation, plagiarism, or falsification of data is strictly prohibited.
3. Safe Conduct

Follow all safety protocols and instructions issued by the organizing team.

In case of emergencies, report immediately to event volunteers or security personnel on site.
4. Responsible Use of Shared Spaces

Maintain cleanliness and decorum in all venues including lecture halls, accommodation, dining areas, and poster spaces.

Respect campus property and the rules of IISER Tirupati.
5. Alcohol, Drugs, and Substance Use

Use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any prohibited substances during the conference is strictly forbidden.
6. Photography and Recording

Do not record or photograph presentations, posters, or discussions without the consent of the presenter(s).

Official documentation will be handled by authorized members of the organizing team.
7. Reporting Violations

Any violation of this code should be reported to the organizing committee or designated faculty advisor(s) promptly.

All complaints will be handled confidentially and with appropriate action.
Consequences of Misconduct
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

Verbal or written warning

Immediate removal from the event without refund

Notification to the participant's institution

Permanent disqualification from future editions of NUPC
By registering for and attending the conference, all participants agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
