Exclusive vector-quarkonium photoproduction at NLO in αs in collinear factorisation with evolution of the generalised parton distributions and high-energy resummation
by
We present a complete one-loop analysis of exclusive vector quarkonium photoproduction off protons within the Collinear Factorisation (CF) framework, incorporating the evolution of Generalised Parton Distributions (GPDs). The well-known large scale instability of the next-to-leading order (NLO) cross section at high energies is confirmed and resolved by resumming leading-logarithmic QCD corrections using High-Energy Factorisation (HEF) in the Doubly-Logarithmic Approximation (DLA), matched consistently to CF. Our matched NLO CF + DLA HEF results exhibit a dominant gluon contribution, with quark effects subleading, and demonstrate a significantly reduced scale dependence compared to fixed-order predictions, in good agreement with HERA data. We discuss implications for HERA, EIC, the LHC, and future experiments, and outline our ongoing work and next steps.
