High-energy resummation for exclusive J/ψ photoproduction in collinear factorisation

Description
We discuss the importance of resummation of high-energy logarithms in the coefficient function of exclusive vector quarkonium photoproduction to solve the perturbative instability of this computation at NLO [1]. This process is an important handle to constrain gluon GPDs and PDFs of a proton or nuclei, but the perturbative instability of the NLO computation has made the phenomenological applications problematic. The resummation provides the way to cure this problem but the accuracy of the computation still needs to be improved to make it quantitative. The prospects for calculation of relativistic and next-to-leading logarithmic corrections will be discussed.
