Description
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives in research are facing a major backlash in the same countries that recently championed EDI/DEI. While sociological and organizational research tells us that a diminution of diversity and inclusion will ultimately reduce the effectiveness and impact of our multi-decade-duration collaborations, we find ourselves in an international environment of markedly divergent attitudes and approaches to the idea of equitable, diverse, and inclusive research communities. What are our options for moving forward?
