We are pleased to announce that contributors to SAGS2025 have the opportunity to submit a proceedings article for inclusion in the official conference volume being considered for publication:
-
Format: Articles should be concise, 10–20 pages in length (including references).
-
Content: Original research articles only. Contributions must go beyond summaries of talks and present novel, peer-reviewable material
-
Peer Review: All papers will undergo blind peer review to ensure academic quality. Accepted articles will be published as subsidy-bearing outputs accredited by the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
-
Timeline: The submission deadline will be 16 January 2026. We will accept contributions from the conclusion date of the conference until this deadline.
-
Publication: The proceedings volume will be formally published and indexed to ensure wider visibility and impact.
This volume will provide a permanent and citable record of the conference, showcasing the scientific contributions of its participants.
We look forward to receiving your manuscripts and to building a proceedings volume that reflects the quality and breadth of the work presented at SAGS2025.

Submissions Procedure
Authors must upload their fully-compiled PDF manuscripts by completing this form. Each submission will undergo an editorial review, centered around checking for technical compliance. The editorial team will verify that the manuscript:
-
conforms to the SAGS2025 formatting and style guidelines,
-
respects the required page limits,
-
includes all mandatory structural elements (title, authors, abstract, references),
-
uses figures, tables, and citations appropriately,
-
contains legible and properly embedded figures and fonts,
-
avoids obvious typographical or structural errors that would impede peer review, and
-
aligns with the scientific scope of the SAGS2025 proceedings.
The editorial review does not replace scientific peer review; rather, it ensures that the manuscript is suitable for the double-blind reviewing process. Once the manuscript passes editorial review, authors will receive a separate submission link for the formal double-blind scientific review stage.
