The Soweto Science Centre and the Department of Physics at the University of Johannesburg will host a Physics Bootcamp for Grade 11 learners from June 26-28, 2023.
The bootcamp will offer learners the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and experiments, as well as attend lectures and discussions led by experienced physicists and researchers. The aim of the bootcamp is to inspire learners to pursue physics and other STEM fields, and to provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in these areas.
The bootcamp will cover a range of topics. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with current university students studying physics and other related fields, providing them with an insight into university life and potential career paths.
