Description

In recent years, the radial excitations of heavy hadrons have been identified in experiments. Motivated by that, we have studied their decay properties in the nonrelativistic constituent quark model. It is found that the relativistic correction is essential to explain the large decay width indicating that the relativistic model may be necessary. In this talk, we will discuss our attempt to visit the problem by using the light-front quark model (LFQM) which is based on the relativistic framework.
