The 22nd International Conference on Accelerators and Beam Utilizations (ICABU2018) will be held from November 7 to 9, 2018, at HICO, in Gyeongju, Korea. Traditionally, the conference covered emerging issues in accelerator technologies and utilizations of particle beams in a wide range of research fields, spanning from basic science, materials science, nano, bio-life, information, space, energy & environment, medical applications, to industrial applications.

Keeping its spirit, this conference will shed light on various accelerator projects in the world and Korea, and beam utilizations in emerging R&D fields through the plenary sessions and parallel sessions. A poster session widely welcomes sophisticated R&D results from accelerator developments and particle beam utilizations. In addition, a special session is formulated to discuss various issues related to major accelerators in Korea.

	High Intensity Proton Accelerator, Synchrotron Light Source, XFEL, Neutron Source, Heavy Ion Accelerator, Particle Therapy Facility, Industrial Accelerator, etc.	Ion Sources, RFQ, DTL, SFR, Cyclotron, Synchrotron, Beam Dynamics, Beam Diagnostics, Radiation Shielding & Safety, etc.		Protons, Neutrons, and Ions in basic science, materials science, nano, bio-life, information, space, energy & environment, medical applications, industrial processing, etc.

 

 

Publication

 All the authors are strongly encouraged to prepare a manuscript of their papers. The conference scientific review committee will review all the manuscripts, and selected papers are to be published in a special issue of the Journal of Korean Physical Society (JKPS), if accepted, which will replace the conference proceedings.
