Machine learning (ML) and data science are rapidly reshaping the everyday world around us, as well as many scientific and academic disciplines.

Many researchers at Rutgers are actively involved in developing and applying ML and data science methods across a wide variety of disciplines. This 1-day event aims to bring together these researchers, with the aim of exchanging ideas, fostering new interdisciplinary collaborations, and building a broader ML and data science community within Rutgers.

The workshop will be open to Rutgers SAS MPS-DLS faculty and will consist of short, introductory talks by PIs in the morning (providing broad, non-specialist overviews to the research done by their groups), followed by lunch and an organized discussion in the afternoon.

The location will be the CoRE Auditorium with lunch in CoRE 401.

There will be no registration fee for the event, but we expect all attendees to please register in advance so we can have an accurate headcount.
