Description
The common origin of causal relationships and logical relationships can be recognized in the meanings and implications between actions, from their inception, in the most elementary human activity. The result of the subject's cognitive activity—when interacting with their surroundings—consists in the construction of organizational forms for their own actions, structuring them into a system of dynamic interrelationships, ultimately leading to the coordination of actions and thought processes. What can we expect from cognitive science to contribute to filling knowledge gaps that would lead us to better understand the contributions of ancient civilizations to the evolution of knowledge in the fields of archaeoastronomy and/or science in general? The construction of Chankillo, the oldest solar observatory in the Americas, allows us to reflect on this.
