Description
Neutrinos play a major rol in practically all physical and astrophysical processes. However its nature , Dirac or Majorana, is still unknown.
In this talk we shall address this question with reference to the violation of the lepton number symmetry and its consequences upon the extensions of the Standard Model of Electroweak interactions.
We shall comment upon some the current efforts, in this subject, both in theory and experiments.
