(Symposium on Physics: Advances in Research and Knowledge)

SPARK 2025 is the Second biennial National Conference of the SPARK Series. 
Organized by: Department of Physics, North Lakhimpur University (formerly NL College [Autonomous])
Dates: 31st Oct-1st Nov, 2025

SPARK 2025 will bring together physicists, researchers, and scholars from across the nation. The conference will feature:

  • Invited Keynote Speeches by eminent physicists.
  • Four Parallel Technical Sessions covering diverse areas of physics.
  • Poster Sessions running throughout the conference, providing a platform for young researchers to showcase their work.

Discussions will span a broad spectrum of topics in both theoretical and experimental physics.

Participants who present their work at the conference, through either oral or poster presentations, will be invited to submit full papers for consideration in the proceedings. Papers will be published either as a Scopus-indexed conference proceedings or as an edited ISBN book. Selected papers, after peer review, will appear in a special issue of a Scopus-indexed journal. Both oral and poster presentations will be considered for publication.

Early Bird Registration Fees:

Faculties & Post-Docs: ₹2,600
PhD/MPhil Students: ₹1,700
MSc/MTech Students: ₹800

Regular Registration Fees:

Faculties & Post-Docs: ₹3,000
PhD/MPhil Students: ₹2,000
MSc/MTech Students: ₹1,000

 

Note:

  1. The registration fee covers the conference kit, participation certificates, tea and lunch.
  2. Multiple co-authors can register under a single abstract; however, each author wishing to register must submit a separate registration form.
  3. The participants have to bear extra expenditures for publishing the proceedings, if required.
  4. Payment can be made to the conference account using UPI, NEFT, IMPS or Bank Deposit.
  5. All participants who wish to attend the conference without presentation must also register for the conference.
  6. We may be able to provide accommodation to a limited number of participants in the University Guest House for a minimal additional fee. Due to limited capacity, preference will be given to participants traveling from distant locations. Other participants have to arrange their stay in nearby hotels and guest houses. A list of nearby hotels can be found in the accomodation tab.
