The Sixth International Conference on Application of RadiotraCers and  Energetic Beams in Sciences, ARCEBS-2027 (March 15 - 20, 2027) is organised by

ARCEBS series of conferences are considered as benchmark conference  in accelerator applications in all discipline of sciences. The scope of the conference includes application of radiotracers and accelerated beams from basic sciences to human welfare. ARCEBS is concerned about Earth and Environment and therefore a special topic 'accelerator applications in Earth and environmental science' is included in  the scope of the conference. The conference is a quadrennial event. The first conference was held in 2006, and was the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata, India.  The second, third and fourth conferences were also organised by SINP. The fifth conference was organised by the Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University Purulia, India. All the earlier conferences in the ARCEBS series were highly successful, breeding ground of new ideas and seeding new collaborations across the globe.  The sixth conference,  ARCEBS 2027, will be hosted by the oldest and one of the most prestigious universities of India, University of Calcutta.  

The University of Calcutta, established in 1857, is the premier university in India and holds a rich heritage of teaching and research. The Nobel Laureates associated with the University of Calcutta are Rabindranath Tagore, Sir C. V. Raman, Amartya Sen and Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee.  Some of the distinguished alumni of this University are Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray,  Asutosh Mookerjee, Upendranath Brahmachari, Prasantachandra Mahalanobis, Meghnad Saha, Satyendranath Bose. The direction and vision of India was also set by visionary alumni like Bankimchandra Chatterjee, Swami Vivekananda, Rajendra Prasad, Subhas Chandra Bose, Syamaprasad Mookerjee, and many others.  

 

Venue of the conference: The ARCEBS-27 will take place  in Sinclairs Retreat Dooars, Chalsa, West Bengal, India.  

Being close to wildlife zones like Chapramari wildlife park, and Gorumara national park, the surroundings often echo with peacock calls and forest sounds. Jaldapara wildlife sanctuary, the homeland of Rhinos is just two hours. 

Sinclairs Retreat Dooars is situated on Chalsa hilltop in Dooars, Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal, India amidst verdant greenery. It offers a serene, natural environment surrounded by tea gardens and forests with a panoramic view of the Himalayan foothills
