ACME - GWFish Tutorial

Europe/Paris
Description

GWFish is an open-source software package for performing Fisher matrix–based forecasts for gravitational-wave observatories. It is designed to estimate the number of expected detections and quantify uncertainties in source parameters. This makes GWFish a valuable tool for science planning, detector design, and multi-messenger strategy development. The tutorial will include an introduction to the Fisher matrix approach, a hands-on session with the software, and example applications of GWFish in the context of multi-messenger astronomy.
