European Network for the Mechanics of Matter at the Nano-Scale (MecaNano)
About MecaNano
MecaNano (CA21121 – European Network for Mechanics of Matter at the Nano-Scale) is a COST Action funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST). The project brings together a wide European and international community of researchers working on the mechanical behavior of materials at the nano- and micro-scales.
Main Objectives
- Develop and harmonize advanced experimental and modeling approaches for nanoscale mechanics.
- Create a multidisciplinary network linking materials science, mechanics, physics, and data science.
- Promote the standardization and interoperability of methods and data.
- Support the next generation of researchers through training schools, workshops, and short-term scientific missions.
MecaNano provides an open platform where scientists and engineers collaborate to address scientific challenges, share infrastructures, and accelerate the development of innovative materials and characterization techniques.
