2nd Python and Machine Learning Bootcamp

Description
The bootcamp will take place on April 24th-28th in the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics of N.C.S.R. “Demokritos”. The bootcamp will provide basic training in programming with Python for data analysis and Machine Learning. In the last day, attendants will have the opportunity to work in real life problems and compete on a Machine Learning challenge. 
 
At the end of this program you will be able to: 
  • program in Python using basic librearies (numpy,pandas, etc.)
  • visualise datasets variables to extract useful information
  • analyse datasets
  • debugging your codes 
  • use effeciently state of the art Machine and Deep Learning techniques
  • perform end-to-end analysis on a real life problem and predict using Machine/Deep Learning techniques

 

A certification of attendance will be provided. 
 
The registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis with a minimum attendance of 10 persons and a maximum attendance of 25 persons. You will be notified by email if your application is successful. 
 
Undergraduate and postgraduate students are encouraged to apply. 
 
Prerequisites: 
* This bootcamp requires physical presence. 
* Attendants must have their own laptop with a Linux operating system installed. 
* Some knowledge of python will be beneficial but it is not mandatory. However, a basic knowledge of programming is required. 
 
Fees: 120€ for students and 200€ for other individuals.
