In this seminar, we will discuss about dark matter, its possible nature and the challenges in detecting it. We will look into the possibility that dark matter is a Weakly Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP), and try to explain the lack of signal in direct-detection experiments. We will consider several scenarios of Feebly Interacting Massive Particle (FIMP) dark matter, and possible probes. We will examine the axion paradigm, and its discovery prospects. Finally, we will discuss how we can consistently explore the dark matter landscape by improving the accuracy and validity of our predictions while combining searches across different scales.
