The 3rd Thailand Experimental Particle Physics Novice Workshop 2015 (อนุภาคน้อย 2015) is organized for the 3rd and the 4th year undergrads to introduce an experimental particle physics course. The course is evolved from the training program for CERN-DESY summer student candidates from Thailand. The course includes

• Introduction to Particle Physics, related theories, including Standard Model, and Beyond Standard Model
• Introduction to Particle Accelerator and Particle Detector System
• Introduction to Monte Carlo Simulation and Data Analysis
• Data Analysis Laboratory of the LHC data sets

Students will practice the computer programming (in C++) and data analysis of given data sets. At the end of the course, the final examination will be provided. Students who are declared as having successfully passed the examination will be awarded.

Please bring along your own laptop.
