Description

We measure the forward-backward asymmetry (A6) of the dimuon system and the longitudinal polarisation (FL) of the dikaon system with respect to the squared dimuon mass (q2) using the toy MC samples. The goal is to verify whether in data-like conditions with a similar number of signal and background events, the analysis is able to measure the angular observables of interest (A6, FL). The fitter is validated with the toy MC samples. In the Feldman-Cousins (F-C) 2D contours study a two-dimensional confidence region is obtained by considering the two parameters of interest (A6, FL) simultaneously. The aim is to estimate the statistical uncertainty, as MINOS fails to give the correct estimation of the statistical error, because of the central values of the fitting results (A6, FL) lie very close to the physical boundary. The 2D contours obtained by F-C method are more precised than MINOS at 68.3% CL, especially when the fitting results are hitting the boundary.
