In this work we have carried out the study of Jarlskog like parameter of the neutrino mass matrix with two constrained condition i.e one vanishing minor and zero sum of the neutrino mass eigenvalues. Out of the six possible cases of a neutrino mass matrix with one vanishing minor, we have carried out the study on only three cases i.e $C_{11}=0$, $C_{12}=0$ and $C_{13}=0$ by imposing the zero sum condition of the neutrino mass eigenvalues in flavor state basis. For each case the dependence of Jarlskog like parameter $\nu_{\alpha\beta}^{ij}$ on the the Dirac CP phase $(\delta)$ and the Majorana CP phase ($\alpha$ and $\beta$) has been studied by plotting $\nu_{\alpha\beta}^{ij}$ for the constrained ranges of $\delta$, $\alpha$ and $\beta$ for which the cases are viable under the $3\sigma$ range of the current neutrino oscillation data.
