Description

About 100 gravitational wave signals have been detected by the LIGO-Virgo network during the first three observing runs since 2015. The fourth observing run O4 has recently started with the addition of the KAGRA detector. Several upgrades have improved the detectors' sensitivity, and the rate of GW detections, over the years. In the talk I will describe the past GW observations, the status of detectors, the recent and planned upgrades, and expected performnaces.
