Description

Accessing the polarisation state of weak bosons represents a crucial step to improve our understanding of the electroweak-symmetry-breaking mechanism that is realised in nature. The recent ATLAS and CMS results have triggered multiple efforts in the theory community, towards a precise and accurate modelling of polarised-boson signals in LHC processes. In this talk, I will discuss the calculation of higher-order corrections to inclusive production of two polarised bosons and their decay, including results at fixed order (up to NLO EW and NNLO QCD) and matched to parton shower (NLOPS).
