Description

I will review the MSHT20 parton distribution functions (PDFs) and focus on our recent paper within the MSHT collaboration culminating in the MSHT20aN3LO (approximate N3LO) PDF set. This represents the first global analysis of parton distribution functions (PDFs) at approximate N3LO as well as simultaneously the inclusion of theoretical uncertainties from missing higher order terms at N3LO and beyond. I will review the formalism, higher order information, approximations and determination of the theoretical uncertainties included, as well the effects on both the fit quality and PDFs before examining indicative N3LO predictions.
