Improved colour-singlet production at the LHC

We present a new method for matching fixed order and all order resummed results in the context of colour singlet production at NNLO and N3LL'. The method is inspired by the Multi-Scale Improved NLO (MiNLO) method, and offers a few advantages over traditional methods. In particular it offers the same flexibility as a Monte Carlo generator and can hence be used even in an analysis that requires complex cuts on the final state. We will discuss the application of the method to Higgs and Drell-Yan production.
