I will describe functional reconstruction algorithms for computing multivariate analytic results from numerical evaluations over finite fields. I will show how to employ these methods for the solution of complex algebraic problems related to the calculation of multi-loop scattering amplitudes. I will focus on multi-loop techniques such as Integration By Parts identities, differential equations, integrand reduction and generalized unitarity, as well as recent results for two-loop five-point amplitudes in QCD.
