Double differential predictions for Higgs boson production

The LHC provides an ever increasing amount of data that allow us to study the properties of the Higgs boson in great detail. The phenomenological success of these studies crucially relies on our capabilities to relate experimental observation and theoretical prediction. I discuss recent progress in the application of perturbative QFT to derive high precision Higgs boson cross section predictions.
