1/ Open charm (Jiayin Sun)

  • Combining the open charm measurement for pp @ 5 TeV
  • PYTHIA-data comparison progressing… Varying the charm mass…
  • Waiting for the Lambda-c data table from ALICE…

Anton :

  • Is it ok to vary the charm in Pythia ? Free parameter in Pythia, 1.5 is already fitted on data, project is a good opportunity to refit that value.
  • How the data versus Pythia, on a linear scale ? Will do !
  • Adding the Lambda-c is complicated, there is a discrepancy between LHCb and Alice.

Michelangelo :

  • Surprised by the use of Pythia, full NLO calculation exist… Full phase space, including low pt, justifies that, fragmentation POWHEG, NMC@NLO ?

Jeremy :

  • PYTHIA, which tune ? Monach vs color reconnection ? Tried color reconnection at the beginning, we’ll end up using both…
  • Recent article from Alice, sigma/dy Xi c

Anton shows some extra slides, added to the agenda.

2/ Light-by-light (Georgios Krintiras)

  • Combining ATLAS 2015+2018 with CMS 2015

Raphael : 2018 analysis ? Ongoing, targeting QM'22

Iwona : ATLAS cannot go lower than 2.5 GeV
