Ramalatha Marimuthu, Director of iExplore Foundation for Sustainable Development is an educator, entrepreneur, IEEE CS Golden Core Member and IEEE Impact Creator with passion towards Humanitarian Technology and Service Learning through Projects. She has vast experience in motivating and training the students on skill development and peer networking. Her research interests are assistive technology, data modelling and machine learning, with the applications in engineering education and gender perspectives. She is the founder chair of an international talent show, IEEE YESIST12 focusing on creating awareness on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through social innovations. Her passion for women empowerment has conceptualized into the International Returning Mothers Conference. She has received numerous awards from various organisations such as IEEE, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Anita Borg Institute for Women and Computing, Secretariate for the Disabled, the Government of Tamil Nadu, and so on. She is currently the Vice President (Memberships) for Society on Social Implications of Technology and is chairing the WIE Returnship Committee in IEEE.
