Travel reimbursement via Mainz (Johannes-Gutenberg University)

For the reimbursement of your travel and accommodation cost, some rules apply and we want to prevent disappointment by making those rules available from the beginning and prior to the event. You received those rules with your invitation and you can also find them declared in the menu at the top to the left.

Social event: impressive hike along the "smuggler's path"

On Friday afternoon, February 21, a mutual hike along the "smuggler's path" to the Chapel of Klobenstein (the clifted rock) located above the stunning "Entenlochklamm" (an ice age canyon) has been scheduled. The distance is approx. 6 km and is not too difficult to walk. Hiking shoes are recommended for safety reasons, though.

More information about the "Klobenstein" can be found in the menu at the top to left.

Once we get there, a "Brotzeit" (typical Bavarian/Austrian cold lunch) will be served at the local restaurant.

In the late afternoon we will return directly to the conference venue by bus.
