Arup worked with CERN and KEK to evaluate and understand the environmental and embodied carbon impact of three linear collider options, the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) Drive Beam and Klystron, and the International Linear Collider (ILC). Suzanne will present the results of the Life Cycle Assessment and the embodied carbon reduction opportunities identified. She will also highlight next steps including a Whole Life Cycle Assessment for CLIC and ILC machine componentry, and further opportunities for carbon reduction and carbon management using PAS2080:2023.
