Description
The annual DASP student workshop provides members of the community an introduction to the broad areas of space research conducted within the community. This year, the student workshop will focus on the physics of coupling across the space environment and Space Weather, taking a look at how the space environment affects our daily lives.
Participants will be provided instruction on the mechanisms underpinning Space Weather and on its impacts on technological systems, including the impacts of Space Weather on: spacecraft orbital maintenance and sustainability, spacecraft radiation exposure and mitigation, early warning radar, long range communications, power systems, and GPS navigation and positioning.
This symposium is open to participation from across CAP disciplines.
