The Belle II experiment at the KEK laboratory in Japan will begin detector commissioning this year, with first data taking for physics planned for 2018. I will present the current status of this project, and describe recent activities relating to detector construction and testing, as well as the commissioning of the SuperKEKB accelerator. I will also report on the activities of Canadian...

T2K is a long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment in Japan. T2K produces neutrinos at the J-PARC accelerator complex and observes them at the ND280 and Super-Kamiokande detectors. T2K continues to accumulate significant new data sets in neutrino and anti-neutrino mode. We will review the overall concept of the T2K experiment and then present our most up-to-date three-flavour results...

As long-baseline neutrino oscillation parameter measurements arrive at the precision era, future experiments will be dominated by systematic rather than statistical uncertainty. The determination of the incident neutrino energy based on experimental observables relies on theoretical neutrino-nucleus interaction models, which are the dominant uncertainties for the T2K-II and HK experiments....
