Description

We will review aspects of Lattice QCD calculations and the role they play in quark flavour physics. A recently published (2104.09883) Lattice QCD calculation of the hadronic form factors for the semileptonic decay D -> K lv and those for an ongoing, nearly complete calculation of the hadronic form factors for rare B -> K transitions will be used as examples.
