SHiP (Search for Hidden Particles) endeavour

Description

In 2013, in the wake of the Higgs discovery, the SHiP experiment identified a unique opportunity to pursue a new path of direct searches for a large class of new feebly interacting particles, including Light Dark Matter. SHiP physics also includes a rich neutrino programme, in particular fundamental tests of SM in tau neutrino interactions. A proposal for novel type of accelerator-based facility which may experimentally solve mysteries of the Standard Model is currently under the last stage of the review at CERN.
