Description
The production of a top–antitop quark pair in association with a Higgs boson (ttH) is a crucial process at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), as it provides a direct probe of the top-quark Yukawa coupling. Previous phenomenological predictions for this process have relied on dynamical approximations to the two-loop virtual corrections, which had not been computed directly. In this talk, I will present the first direct computation of the two-loop QCD virtual corrections to the quark-initiated channel of ttH production in the generalised leading-colour approximation. I will discuss the numerical methods and machine learning techniques employed to construct a surrogate amplitude for accurate cross-section predictions, and compare our results with previous predictions, finding agreement within the respective uncertainties.
