4. Creation of a new IUPAP Commission on Quantum Technologies (First 2026 IUPAP survey. Input from physical societies.)

We have been discussing the possibility of creating a new IUPAP Commission on Quantum Technologies. Both the members of the now dissolved Working Group on Quantum Science Technology and various Commission Chairs recommended that we created such Commission. The aim of this survey is to know the opinion of your physical society and to ask whether there would be some restrictions for people with affiliation in your territory to be able to participate in such a Commission (given that QT could be considered a sensitive subject).
