Description

Dark matter and neutrinos are important topics in modern physics. We propose a new method for probing the dark sector through high energy neutrino scattering. Using a dark sector that behaves similarly to the Standard Model, we show that dark rho mesons can mediate interactions between high energy cosmic neutrinos and relic neutrinos left over from the Big Bang. We find that this method can probe a substantial portion of the parameter space, potentially accessible to future neutrino telescopes. Our results demonstrate a new approach to investigating both dark matter and neutrino physics with future detectors.
