Description
We probe a large set of models with extra neutral gauge bosons (Z') and corresponding extended gauge sectors at the future multi-TeV muon collider. Pair production cross-sections and asymmetries for hadronic and leptonic final states allow indirect searches for Z' bosons with masses well beyond the collision energy in the neutral-current process. Projections for detector performance show that semileptonically decaying tops provide an excellent probe of chiral asymmetries and considerably extend the mass reach beyond existing bounds and projections for the high-luminosity LHC, probing particular models with Z' masses over 100 TeV at a 10 TeV muon collider.
