Description

Quantum entanglement offers a new perspective on the structure of particle scatterings and its connection to fundamental symmetries. In this talk, I will explore how spontaneous symmetry breaking affect the entanglement properties of scattering amplitudes. I will show how symmetry breaking changes the correlations between different degrees of freedom using simple models. Viewing the scattering as an effective quantum operation, we show that quantum entanglement may provide a complementary way to study symmetry breaking effects and potentially reveal its signatures in low energy scatterings.
