Description
We introduce the notion of non-stabilizerness, which, in addition to entanglement, serves as a resource that drives quantum computational advantage. We discuss the application of measures associated with non-stabilizerness to discriminate between the performance of various quantum optimization algorithms. This serves as a tractable, toy problem with lessons that could possibly be utilized for problems in particle physics.
