Description

Muon colliders offer a new path towards studying particle physics beyond the standard model at energy and intensity levels beyond our current limits. The low lifetime of muons makes them a natural choice for an intense neutrino beam study. We built MINT, a Monte Carlo simulation to model neutrino fluxes accounting for muon beam dynamics in the accelerators and the interaction region of the collider. We calculate secondary muons and neutrinos scattered upstream as well as outline how the large forward neutrino exposure can be used to search for new particles such as heavy neutral leptons.
