Description

This ECR event, held in connection with the CHIPP Plenary and SPS Annual Meeting 2026, brings together PhDs and postdocs from across Switzerland to exchange ideas, present their research, and build connections in an informal setting. Participants are invited to give short (5-minute) talks and engage with colleagues from different institutions.

The workshop also aims to familiarize Swiss Early-Career Researchers with the outcomes of the European Strategy for Particle Physics and to foster discussion on its implications for the field, with particular attention to Swiss contributions. It will provide a broad and accessible overview of current developments in particle physics and future collider projects such as FCC-ee, offering ECRs valuable context and perspective on the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The participation fee is 100 CHF, including 2 nights of accommodation, coffee breaks, and a social event. For participants not requiring accommodation, the fee is reduced to 50 CHF.
