Description
Over the past decade, several measurements in the flavor sector performed at dedicated beauty experiments, such as BELLE, BaBar and LHCb, have shown a significant tension with respect to SM predictions. The flavor puzzle of the SM remains one of the open questions in high energy particle physics up until today and needs further investigation. This talk summarizes flavor measurements performed at the CMS detector over the last years, underlining its B physics potential and contribution to the flavor sector.
