Description

The most recent CMS measurement of fiducial inclusive and differential Higgs boson production cross sections in the diphoton channel at \sqrt{s} = 13.6 TeV is presented. The analysis uses 2022–2024 data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 171 fb^{-1}. Differential cross sections are measured for several observables, including the Higgs boson transverse momentum, absolute rapidity, and associated jet activity. For the first time, the light-quark couplings of the Higgs boson are constrained using kinematic information. Furthermore, a multi-observable effective field theory interpretation is performed for the first time in CMS.
