Description

Lepton colliders produce large fluxes of quasi-real photons via the equivalent photon approximation. We present a study for the proposed FCC-ee, showing these fluxes enable a broad photon-QCD program.
While photon-induced dijet production gives access, for example, to $\alpha_S$ determinations, jet substructure, etc., the talk centers on deep-inelastic scattering of leptons on collinear photons. We determine the $(x,Q^2)$ coverage attainable at FCC-ee, after subtraction of the $ee \to WW$ background, and the role of forward lepton detectors.
