Description
The forward coverage of the LHCb detector (2 < η < 5) provides an interesting setting to
study hadronization in jets. LHCb is particularly well-suited for studying hadronization in
events initiated by light-quarks and heavy-quarks, given the enhancement of the relevant
cross sections at forward rapidities and the capability of cleanly tagging these events.
Heavy-flavour-tagged events are of special interest, as heavy quarks exhibit distinct
perturbative radiation patterns and nonperturbative hadronization dynamics compared to
light quarks and gluons. In this talk, we will briefly review the experimental conditions at
LHCb to provide context for the measurements, and then delve deeply into the latest results
of hadronization studies at LHCb
