Description
Recent LHCb measurements of the differential production cross-sections of prompt $K_S^0$ and $\Lambda$ hadrons in proton--proton collisions are presented. The production cross-sections and the $\Lambda/K_S^0$ production ratio are measured at centre-of-mass energies of $\sqrt{s}=13$ and $13.6\,\mathrm{TeV}$ as functions of rapidity and transverse momentum in the forward region. The results are compared with theoretical calculations, event-generator predictions, and previous experimental measurements.
